
Laurel E. Cole is an author, mother, and retired roller derby skater. She has lived in several places, and currently calls Orange County, CA home. She has written for several publications including The Phoenix New Times, and is currently the Blog Editor for the Women’s National Book Association.
Laurel writes in several genres of fiction, but enjoys pushing the lines. Currently, Laurel is working on a historical fiction book set in WWII Austria.
After receiving a M.Ed from Arizona State University, Laurel changed gears from working in the field of Early Childhood Education to the world of Alternative Payment Programs with the Department of Education.
Each year in November, Laurel participates in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and fleshes out a new book concept which she spends the following year revising and editing.
